Your blood type determines who you can donate to, or receive blood from. People with type O negative (O-) are considered universal donors, as they can donate red blood cells to all other blood type recipients. Outpatient Clinics & Laboratories Closed on Victoria Day

Some healthcare services offered at the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance will not be available on Monday, May 21, 2018 in recognition of Victoria Day.

All Outpatient Clinics at all four hospital sites will be closed on Monday, May 21, 2018.

The following services will also be closed:

  • Outpatient Laboratory Services

The Emergency Departments located at all four hospitals sites are open 24 hours daily.

Our Crisis Line is also available 24 hours daily at 1-888-829-7484.

Breastfeeding moms can call 24 hours daily to receive support from the staff on the Maternal Child Unit. Staff can be reached at 519-272-8232 or 1-888-275-1102 ext 8232
