First COVID-19 Death in Huron Perth
March 30, 2020

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is reporting its first death in connection to COVID-19. Our collective thoughts are with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

"The entire HPHA team is saddened by this loss and extends heartfelt condolences to the patient’s family and loved ones,” says Andrew Williams, President and CEO. “In facing this tragic reality, the resolve of the HPHA Team to continue to provide compassionate and accountable care to all in need as we address this pandemic together is only strengthened."

As the number of cases across Huron and Perth counties and the country continue to grow, it is extremely important that we continue follow the public health agencies’ latest advice, including physical distancing, self-monitoring for symptoms, and self-isolation after out-of-country travel or contact with a known or probable case of COVID-19.
