Rehabilitation

Patients admitted to the Rehabilitation Unit are most often recovering from an orthopedic condition (e.g. following a fracture), or are medically complex.

The rehabilitation program requires that individuals actively participate in a minimum of two to three hours of therapy per day.

Individuals are assessed with respect to the level and type of rehabilitation services they require. Care is planned and delivered based on goals identified in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, patients and their families.
