There is an immediate opportunity for a Full Time Emergency Physician to combine coverage at Clinton
Public and Seaforth Community Hospitals. This position would guarantee a minimum of 8 shifts per month. For
those interested, additional coverage beyond this could be available at Stratford General Hospital.

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) was established in 2003 and is a voluntary collective of four hospitals (Clinton Public Hospital, St. Marys Memorial Hospital, Seaforth Community Hospital and Stratford General Hospital) that provides care across the continuum of acute and community-based services.

Site Specific Information
- Hospitals are each 20 bed rural hospitals
- Patient volumes are 35-45 with acuity mix across all
CTAS levels
- Dedicated 2nd on-call physician available within an hour
- ER physician covers the floor (as hospitalist) after hours
- X-Ray, Ultrasound & Lab readily available in house
- CT can be same day if needed in Stratford
Stratford General Hospital is the regional referral
centre and is a 100+ bed hospital that offers a full range of
medical and diagnostic services including CT, MRI, and 24-
hour laboratory, diagnostic imaging and respiratory therapy
services.
Specialty services are available in Internal Medicine,
Emergency Medicine, ENT, Orthopaedic and General
Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Pediatrics, Pathology,
Anesthesia, Psychiatry and OB/GYN.
Schedule and Compensation
- 24 hour shifts (can be split if preferred)
- Funded by an AFA
- $127-$158/hr plus shadow billings
