The Coffee Shop is owned and operated by the
Volunteers of Stratford General Hospital and proceeds help support the purchase
of patient care equipment and help fund Volunteer programs. Excellent customer
service is the goal at our Coffee Shop - we want all our customers to enjoy
their experience in a relaxed and happy environment.
Coffee Shop volunteers work alongside paid
Coffee Shop staff who are Safe Food Handling Certified. The Volunteers are
responsible for
- greeting and serving
customers
- maintaining a clean Coffee
Shop and seating area
- sorting and displaying food
items
- preparing coffee, tea and
sandwiches
Volunteers will be trained in infection
control and safe food handling. Volunteers must be willing to
participate in on going trainings and orientations as requested. Volunteers
must also be comfortable working with cash and/or willing to learn and operate
a cash register.
