Emergency Medicine
Clinton Public Hospital is recruiting FM and/or EM physicians!
Position Details:
- Full/Part Time and/or Locum options available.
- Physicians are scheduled for 24 hour shifts.
- Physicians are paid through the AFA $180-$190/hr from 0800-2200. The ED closes for registration at 2000.
- Physicians receive a stipend for overnight coverage of the 20 bed inpatient unit at a rate of $500-$550.
- Patient volumes are 25-30 daily.
- Dedicated 2nd on-call physician available for back up.
- ED physician covers the floor (as hospitalist) after 8pm.
- X-Ray, U/S and Lab readily available in house.
- CT, MRI, 24-hour laboratory, diagnostic imaging and respiratory therapy services are available through the
- Stratford site.
- Opportunity to provide coverage across 4 EDs, if interested.
- Mentorship available through colleagues at Stratford General Hospital.
- Free accommodation is available for those living out of town.

Stratford General Hospital (SGH) is the regional referral centre and is a 100 + bed hospital that offers a full range of medical and diagnostic services.
Specialty services are available in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, ENT, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Plastics, Anesthesia, Psychiatry and OB/GYN.
