Family Medicine +/- ER Hospitalist
The Clinton Family Health Team (CFHT) in Clinton, ON. is recruiting a Family Physician to join the group of 6.
Details include:
- Opportunity to assume care of up to 1000 patients recently unattached from a retired physician.
- Physicians interested in locum work are encouraged to apply!
- Turn key shared clinic space across the street from Seaforth Community Hospital.
- FHT staffing include NPs, RNs, RPNs, social worker/mental health worker, dietician, psychologist and administrative staff.
- Eligible for funding support through the RFMLP.
- Eligible for financial incentive through the NRRI ($89,899).
- Generous financial incentive available through the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation and the HPHA.
Clinton Public Hospital / Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance:- 20 beds with a mix of medicine & complex continuing care.
- Close proximity to secondary & tertiary referral centres.
- Option to participate in Hospitalist work—Fri-Thurs. Physicians are paid a daily stipend.
- PACS, X-Ray, Lab and U/S on site.
- Active Surgical Program on site, in addition to specialty clinics in Internal Medicine, Allergy & Pediatrics.
- Opportunity to provide ED coverage, ~ 25 patients from 0800-2200. ED is closed for registration from 2000-0800. Physicians are paid an hourly rate through the AFA and a stipend for overnight coverage.

Clinton is located along Ontario’s West Coast. The community is moments from live theatre, great shopping, warm sandy beaches and spectacular sunsets. Many major centres are within easy driving distance, yet living in Clinton and area one can enjoy a warm, small town atmosphere with steady residential growth and a strong agricultural climate.
